Into the Void and Out of the Darkness are books 10 and 11 of the Godhunter series; these two books are set in the same timelines (alternating between events in the god/human realm and the faerie realm) and they share two separate-yet-entwined sub-plots. The author suggests when you see the >o< symbol, the reader alternates between the two books--since I did this, I am doing a shared review for the two books.I recommend readers also purchase both books and alternate between them to get the full enjoyment of the two stories. Great plot lines, I actually enjoyed both stories equally and I love how the author brings together clues dropped in prior books. Well done.

If you want more specific details, please check my review of book 10 because the two are meant to be read together. This is just a terrific series, and books 10 & 11 are as fun and exciting as the others. I highly recommend buying the entire series. Can't wait for the next one!
I have all the books in the Godhunter Series - at least to # 14 and have loved them all. For those books that suggest switching between 2 books, do it. I've read them both ways and it makes the series so much better to switch between them.

What an amazing adventure. I love Vervain and her men. Her adventures and sense of humor are perfect for my favorite types of books. I can't wait to read the next book.
I've read the series from the beginning, so by now I'm so sucked into the story I can't put it down. There's so much going on I'm always wanting to find out how it works out. If you haven't read this series be prepared for anything and everything to happen!
This series has quickly become one of my favorites. Since books ten and eleven are best read in tandem, and I don't want to reveal any spoilers, I will just say that these two books definitely reach into the heart of Vervain. She has to deal with her growing desire for family, her new fey tendencies, and the loss of her husband. I love this series, and will definitely read more as they are released
This is my absolute favorite of the Godhunter series, partly because I absolutely love Arach and because I prefer the Faerie Realm to the human/god. Sumida is able to juggle all three worlds and so, so many attractive men while telling a beautifully intricate story.
